Podjetje ITU-IMEX je bilo ustanovljeno 1990 z namenom ponuditi slovenskim potrošnikom priznane blagovne znamke živilske industrije.
Poleg uspešnega plasiranja kvalitetnih blagovnih znamk živilske industrije se nam je kasneje ponudila tudi priložnost ponuditi proizvode na področju športa in tehnike.
V tem času je podjetje s prepoznavnim nastopom in izkušnjami ustvarilo dobro ime med slovenskimi trgovci, naši izdelki pa so našli pot v večino slovenskih domov.

ITU-IMEX d.o.o. located in Ljubljana, Slovenia, is a wholesaling company specialized in importing and sales of well known or global brands. Our mission is to offer to global supplier the local market knowledge and established network.

There are a few direct competitors for our share of the market. Although all seem to be thriving, there are a number of fronts on which we are competing. Price is the strongest factor. All competitors sell their products at higher prices than ITU-IMEX. Our strong relationships with major exporters allow us to sell our products at a price comparable to or lower than the competition.

Human resources:
Guiding the overall direction of the company, overseeing sales, marketing, human resources issues and accounting. Responsible for attending International Food Shows and seeing marketing initiatives.ITU-IMEX has secured a sales agent with 20 years of experience in sales. A secretary responsible for processing customer orders, managing payables, receivables and generally overseeing the books. Three merchandisers (outsourcing), and 3 delivery person with previous experience.We also outsource temporary help for tastings in retail outlets. These positions are filled on an as needed basis and paid at minimum wage.
4. Industry Overview
Business relations with three major retailers (Mercator, Spar and Engrotuš) covering 80% of the market together with some smaller (Leclerc) and 2 main gas supplying companies. ITU-IMEX is also present in the HORECA sector.
